i did some research online & i didnt see much about the Alexander Creek float. is it possible for you to share your thoughts & experiences on floating from the Alexander Lake down to the mouth of Alexander Creek? Btw, how good is fishing there? Or are there any bears? I'd love to try it next month.

float trips were not allowed on the Alexander creek when ADFG (Alaska Department of Fish & Game) made it illegal to fish along trail creek. that is about 3/4 of the way down from the lake. there aren't many sandbars and you'll see much ground between the water & the woods. Plus, there's high & dirty water in those creeks.

we floated there but that was several yrs ago, early July i think. we rode 2-3 HP motors that's why we didnt find it difficult to pass on the slow sections. we did it in 5 and a half days and IT WAS GREAT! we also happened to catch & release a couple of kings! Bears? we didn't even came across one. but what i could remember, every gravel we stopped at had tracks of them! scary, huh! haha
