id like to ask every paddler here, how wet do you get when you go rafting? i am the type who really hates getting my face wet during the day, outdoors. any suggestions on how to keep it dry? another is that i hate it too when my clothes get all stuck to my body. well anyway, i understand i'll eventually get wet, but...how do i protect my face?

totally soaked! well, honestly, if you are going to worry about your face & clothes getting wet, it will only ruin all the fun there is! and maybe rafting is not the sport for you. Live a little, get out & get wet! you're not gonna melt anyway and besides if you worry alot about getting wet, you will just look so anti-social. just get 100% involved and get soaked! forget about your face & clothing bec they will get dry when you get back to the shore. and there really is no way to stay dry, accept it!

dont think of bringing anything to cover your face. it will just get in the way and the cloth might end up being very hot too because of the sun. and no worries because depending on when or where you'll go, you will always be given a wetsuit. and actually if u are going with a group of older people of with kids, most likely you won't hit on any rough waters.

it depends on where you're rafting. but still, expect to get wet no matter what! the rougher the ride, the more wet you get, of course! check on the grade of the rapids you will be up against as well as the water levels too. all those are factors.

the only solution to keep away from getting wet? Don't go rafting!

Does being wet matter? Haha! I really have fun when I'm all soaked when rafting! That means I had the best time with those exciting rides, bumps and all. :)

How do you protect your face from gettng wet? Its simple, wear transparent mask.
Kidding aside, its normal to get wet. Hello thats rafting. getting your face splash with water is half the fun. Cheer!!!
