Missing Rafter Found in Bow River
WEDNESDAY, 27 JUNE 2007
The body of one of the two missing rafters was found in the Bow River last Sunday. The two had been missing since June 10.
The body was identified as the 28 year old Yan Beherer. Beherer and his friends were thrown into the water after their raft was caught in a weir. The other rafters were able to swim to safety except the two men.
According to the survivors a barrier was suppose to keep the raft from going over the weir, however the device was previously damage in a rainstorm.
Meanwhile, Remi Bouchard’s body is yet to be found.
