The search and rescue mission for the missing Russian rafter in China has been called off after the Chinese crew decided to finally end the search.
A plane carrying the 2 survivors, Alexander Zverev and Andrey Pauotov along with the bodies of their 3 co-rafters is set to return home to Russia today.
The search mission is consists of both Chinese and Russian emergency crews. The search for the Russians' who were reported missing during their 6-men rafting expedition started in September 6 after the group failed to appear in their final destination point.
Over a thousand emergency crew and numerous helicopters participated in the mission.
