The University Allied Workers Union (UAWU) temporarily puts on hold the four day ultimatum they have issued on the management of the Martha Brae Rafting Village last Friday.
According to reports the union agreed to lift the ultimatum after the rafting village's management agreed to a meeting conducted Thursday.
The meeting's agenda include the discussion on the non-issuing of uniforms, unpaid sick leave, delayed salary payment and the lack of restroom and changing rooms.
In the previous month, the union wrote the said management in order to request for a meeting. However, the management failed to send a reply which resulted in the ultimatum.
