YMCA Invites Young People to be Venture Members
WEDNESDAY, 26 DECEMBER 2007
EASTON, Pa. - The new YMCA is inviting young people who are into rafting and other outdoor sports such as rock climbing, caving, rappelling and snow sports like snowboarding and skiing to sign up and become a Venture crew member.
The program also targets those young individuals with a certain amount of interest in socio-civic cause like environmental issues, conservation projects, and history or service projects.
Venturing is a nationwide organization for young individuals ages 14 to 21. It provides members the opportunity to develop and enhance their leadership skills as well as to make a positive difference in the community.
