DiscoverU, a school based in Seattle which offers classes on river rafting and other topics, recently closed down. This was announced by former President Erin Brandon last Wednesday, February 13.
Brandon left the said company last November 2007. DiscoverU is currently owned by Terence Zehrer of DU International.
Aside from river rafting, the said institution offered evening and weekend classes on various eclectic programs such as wine tasting, flirting, and papermaking.
For 16 years, the school has catered to individuals who are 30 – 50 years old and above. Brandon also claimed that the DiscoverU will be difficult to replace and will probably return in the future.
