US Whitewater Center to Charge Parking Fee
WEDNESDAY, 27 FEBRUARY 2008
Effective Monday, March 24, the US National Whitewater Center will be charging $5 to each car that enters the park, according to an announcement made by Executive Director Jeff Wise.
The said parking fee will be imposed in an effort to increase the facility’s income and pay off its $38 million debt.
The center will also add more programs in the list of services that it currently offers. This will include a mega zip line which will be installed in time for the Olympic trials this coming April. The center also intends to launch more programs for the youth as well as introduce other types of rafting and flat water boating.
